GRAPE VARIETY
Nebbiolo grown in Guyot with sustainable viticulture.
WINEMAKING
Delicate destemming with light pressing and static cold maceration for 1 day. Alcoholic fermentation at 26° C for 15 days following splinting of the cap.
REFINEMENT
18 months in second and third passage barrels and 12 in large Slavonian barrels, then 1 year in the bottle.
COMBINATIONS
First courses with meat sauce and second courses of sheep, pork and especially grilled beef. Also excellent with medium-long matured cheeses.
TASTING NOTES
Color:Intense ruby red
Perfume: Cherry in syrup and ripe blackberries, violet and dog rose with medicinal herbs and marked hints of hydrocarbons and flint.
Taste: soft silky tannins with mineral sensations and mentholates which make it fresh and tasty on the palate. Gudron and bitter chocolate powder on the finish.

Area of origin: Capalot - La Morra. Beautiful vineyard located on the imposing hill of La Morra which dominates the entire panorama of the Langhe from its almost summit position.

Soil: Laminated Sant'Agata marl interspersed with layers of sandstone and conglomerates with small fossil finds of marine origin; the historic toponym “Pria” corresponded in ancient times to the term “Pietra”.
