San Biagio Wine Estate
Wines from the Langhe that tell the story of lands and traditions
In the heart of La Morra for five generations
In the heart of La Morra, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Langhe, Cantina San Biagio preserves a history that spans five generations. A history made up of ancient vineyards, of gestures repeated over time, of a relationship with the land that has never been interrupted.
Our wines come from historic vineyards and from a natural management that respects the seasons and the identity of the soils. Each bottle tells the character of the territory: the marls, the sands, the exposures that change light and slope, and that aromatic precision that has always accompanied our work.
We produce wines that do not follow trends, but speak with sincerity. They are authentic expressions of our hills, of the quality of the grapes and of the balance we seek in each vintage. Wines full of memory, territory and family.
━ ALL WINES ━
Our wines from the Langhe
Our red wines are the beating heart of the San Biagio winery: from the prestigious Barolo and Barbaresco, to Nebbiolo, from Barbera, to Dolcetto, up to the rare Verduno Pelaverga, each label is created with the intention of telling the most authentic soul of our hills. They are wines that combine elegance, depth and aromatic recognizability, the result of historic vineyards and a management that lets the territory speak. Alongside these expressions, we make a refined Spumante Metodo Classico, Alta Langa Riserva and a small selection of White and Rosé wines.
A five-generation family history
Our roots
The history of Cantina San Biagio was born on the hills of La Morra, where our family has been cultivating the vineyard for over a century. A path made up of continuity, hand-tended vineyards, seasons crossed together and a bond with the land that has never been broken. From the first historical plots, a winemaking reality has grown that has been able to keep the original values intact: respect for the territory, authenticity and an approach that always looks at quality, without compromise.
Tradition and quality
Our evolution has always been guided by a natural balance between ancient knowledge and contemporary choices. We work in a sustainable way, we follow each vineyard with artisanal attention and we vinify in full respect of the grapes, without forcing. The result? Wines that speak with sincerity: authentic expressions of the hills that generated them, capable of telling identity, personality and memory.
The Langhe territory
La Morra and its vineyards
Our vineyards are located in the Municipality of La Morra, Barbaresco and Alba, Verduno, Roddi and Serralunga d'Alba, where soils rich in personality, optimal exposures and unique microclimates allow the grapes to develop intense aromas, minerality and great finesse.
A heritage to be enhanced
We cultivate respecting biodiversity, keeping the local agricultural tradition alive and enhancing each plot as part of our production identity. The result is wines that tell the story of the Langhe in a clear, elegant and recognizable way.
A legacy that lives on in our historic labels
For over a century, our family has preserved a winemaking tradition that is reflected in our historic labels, true symbols of the winery's identity. From the first vinifications in the vineyards of La Morra to the most recent productions, each label tells a passage of our evolution.
