Our wines, an expression of the Langhe
━ WINES ━
Our wines
In the
hills of La Morra, where
Barolo has its oldest roots,
our family has been cultivating vineyards for five generations. A history that starts from documents dating back to the
fifteenth century, crosses
centuries of peasant tradition, and arrives today with the same
craftsmanship
of the past:
attention to the land,
respect for the seasons,
natural management and an approach that does not manipulate but
accompanies the wine on its journey.
Our vineyards are born on soils where marl, sand, sandstone and ancient marine fossils alternate in a geological mosaic that gives the wines a clear, recognizable personality. This is where those characteristic notes – peach, rose, wild mint – come from, which return with precision in the most authentic aromas of our bottles.
We produce wines that do not follow trends and do not chase fashions: we let the land speak. Every plot, every exposure, every altitude tells something different. Our task is to listen.
Our categories
To make the choice easier and more intuitive, we have organized our production into four families, each characterized by a precise identity.
━ Alta Langa Wines ━
Metodo Classico: Alta Langa DOCG
Our pure Pinot Noir bubbles: finesse, verticality and depth.
━ DOCG Wines and Cellar Selections ━
Classics of the Langhe, Nebbiolo and Barbaresco
The most elegant and linear interpretations of Nebbiolo and Barbaresco.
━ DOC wines of the Langhe ━
Ad Majora Line
Our most contemporary vision: freshness, minerality, precision.
The vineyards
Our vineyards extend between La Morra, Barbaresco, Roddi, Verduno and the Alta Langa: places rich in history, different microclimates, soils that change a few meters away and that give Nebbiolo, Pelaverga, Barbera, Dolcetto and Pinot Noir unique characters. The vineyard is cared for almost entirely by hand: leaf removal, thinning, sorting of the bunches... Every gesture is guided by the idea that quality is obtained exclusively by trying to preserve it from the bottle to the glass. It is in the cellar that the aromatic depth of Barolo, the elegance of Nebbiolo, the freshness of Dolcetto, the precision of our Alta Langa bubbles are born. The management is sustainable, respectful, attentive to natural cycles. An approach that brings unconstructed, authentic, intense, full of identity wines to the bottle.
Our philosophy
Ours is a
historic, family-run
winery, rooted in
tradition but open to
an idea of bright,
clean,
contemporary wine. In
2020 we
renewed the labels by recovering elements of the past: a way to
honor grandparents and
bring our story back to the center of the narrative. For this reason, some older vintages - such as Barolo 2010 or 2015 - still bear the
historical labels: tangible signs of time, continuity, memory.
We believe in
wines that know how to speak for themselves:
vertical,
recognizable wines,
deeply linked to the soil that generated them. We do not try to tame them: we accompany them.
